Former ABC broadcaster Margaret Throsby is recovering in hospital after being hit by an electric fat bike carrying two teenagers on a shared path in the Illawarra, south of Sydney. The 84-year-old suffered hip, thumb and head injuries, underwent hip surgery and is expected to need rehabilitation. Police inquiries continue.
