EconomyShell approves expansion to double LNG Canada capacity to 28 mln tonnes
Shell has approved the second phase of LNG Canada, which will double the Kitimat, British Columbia facility’s annual capacity from 14 million to 28 million tonnes. The expansion will add two liquefaction trains, scheduled to start operating in the early 2030s.
