Hungary’s OTP Bank is considering leaving Russia entirely, Bloomberg reports, but says selling its business there is currently almost impossible. Regulators are examining OTP’s Russian presence as they review its planned acquisition of Baltic lender Luminor. OTP says its Russian profit has risen more than fivefold since 2021 to $635 million.
