PoliticsEU sanctions Russian officials over Yabloko ban

The EU has sanctioned 10 Russian judges, prosecutors and officials, holding them responsible for preventing the Yabloko party from participating in State Duma elections, the Council of the EU said. The measures include an EU entry ban. Russia’s Supreme Court had annulled Yabloko’s federal-list registration over alleged campaign and funding violations.
