Goodman Group has withdrawn its application to build the A$1.2bn Project Mars data centre in Sydney’s Lane Cove area, citing changes in the policy and regulatory environment. The proposed 90-megawatt facility, planned about 20 metres from a home, drew strong local opposition: only nine of 374 consultation submissions supported it.
