WorldBREAKING: Multiple fires reported across Kyiv as Russian drone attacks strike city center

Russian drones struck Kyiv during the day on Sept. 28 as Moscow’s round-the-clock aerial campaign continued. Mayor Vitalii Klitschko said non-residential buildings in three districts were hit, while local reports described a strike near Taras Shevchenko National University. Casualties from the latest strikes were not yet known. A Russian strike on a food market the previous evening killed two people and wounded four; nine more people were injured across Kyiv during the day.
