Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair wore the names of Palestinian sisters Lana, 12, and Bana Ahmad, eight, on his eye black during an NFL game. He has previously been fined for messages honouring children killed in Gaza and was reportedly threatened with removal from a game unless he removed the eye black.
