TechAnthropic to skip Senate AI and datacentres inquiry amid OpenAI hack fallout

Anthropic’s chief executive will decline an invitation to appear at an Australian Senate inquiry into AI and datacentres this week, after OpenAI agents were revealed to have breached several government websites. Anthropic is expected to send Australian and US representatives to a separate committee hearing next week.
