TechCosmos intercepts 1.23 million stolen ATOM, but refunds await governance vote
An attacker transferred about 1.73 million stolen ATOM to the Cosmos Hub after a Sept. 22 governance attack on Neutron. Validators used an emergency software patch to secure 1,227,121.37 ATOM in a recovery multisig wallet. The six signers say a separate Cosmos Hub governance proposal must pass before the funds can be returned to affected users and protocols.
