WorldCSTO drills relevant amid complex military-political situation, Joint Staff chief says

CSTO Joint Staff Chief Andrey Serdyukov said the extremely complex global military-political situation makes the organization’s joint exercises in Russia particularly relevant. He cited worsening international relations and “zones of instability” near member states’ borders as growing military-security threats, while saying the drills aim to strengthen the Collective Forces’ readiness for modern conflicts.
