Ukraine’s General Staff said on Sept. 27 that Russian forces have suffered about 1,528,970 casualties in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion began on Feb. 24, 2022, including 1,690 over the previous day. It also reported losses of tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, aircraft, ships and other equipment. Ukraine has not disclosed its own losses, citing operational secrecy.
