Autumn scenery surrounds the Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area in Fukang, Xinjiang, with golden birches, dark spruces and red maples framing the lake and snow-capped Bogda Peak reflected in its waters. On September 25, the Mid-Autumn Festival, the site welcomed nearly 17,000 visitors and earned more than 8 million yuan, both 23% higher than last year.
