Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul merely repeated Berlin’s longstanding position during a meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. Lavrov said Moscow does not lack trust in the Ukraine negotiation track but wants the other side to prove it can reach agreements and be trusted, accusing Kyiv of failing to do so with Western encouragement.
