US President Donald Trump rejected Iran’s seven-day proposal, submitted through Qatar, to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and resume nuclear talks. Tehran’s plan called for lifting the naval blockade, waiving oil sanctions, releasing frozen Iranian assets and observing a regional ceasefire. Trump said the proposal was unacceptable.
