ScienceDrones could speed defibrillator delivery to cardiac-arrest patients, study suggests

A study of 28,349 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests in the Greater Paris area found that fixed automated defibrillators covered only a limited share of cases. Modelling suggested drone bases could expand access with fewer additional devices, potentially reaching almost all cases within five minutes, though real-world deployment was not assessed.
