TechGoogle ads spread sophisticated tech-support scam that freezes Windows and Mac screens

Researchers found malicious Google ads across high-traffic websites that freeze Windows and Mac screens and pressure users to call a fake support center. Netskope recorded clicks from users at 619 customer organizations between August 31 and September 14, tracking more than 250 campaign IDs across at least 284 legitimate publisher sites.
