TechIBM links 17 banks to SWIFT ledger, but cloud risk persists

IBM has beta-tested a connection between Digital Asset Haven and SWIFT’s shared ledger, allowing institutions to direct tokenized-deposit transactions through familiar ISO 20022 payment messages. A separate beta lets regulated clients run Haven on IBM Z and LinuxONE in their own data centers. SWIFT says 17 banks are preparing a controlled pilot, while final settlement still relies on existing systems.
