The WHO says the Bundibugyo strain of Ebola has reached Bulu in South Ubangi and Dungu in Haut-Uele, bringing affected health zones in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to 63 across seven provinces. Conflict, displacement and poor access are hampering contact tracing. By September 23, the country had recorded 7,890 confirmed cases and 3,799 deaths.
