Yemen’s Riyadh-based President Rashid al-Alimi urged people on Friday to mobilise and join the armed forces, while offering a general amnesty to Iran-backed Houthi rebels. The Houthis have seized large parts of Yemen’s Red Sea coast and imposed a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia.
