TechBitget hack loss rises to $387.5 million as exchange offers bounty for stolen crypto
Bitget raised its estimate of assets stolen in the Sept. 24 breach from $351.6 million to $387.5 million after on-chain tracing found previously uncounted Zcash and TRON holdings. It is working with Mandiant, SlowMist and industry partners to freeze and recover the funds, offering a 5% bounty for eligible assets frozen or recovered. Withdrawals remain suspended.
