Russia and Vietnam have signed a memorandum allowing carriers on each side to operate 105 flights per week. Russian airlines currently run 39 weekly flights on 11 routes, while Vietnamese carriers operate 31 on 13 routes. More than 1 million passengers traveled between the countries in the first seven months of the year, with the annual total potentially exceeding 2 million, a record.
