WorldDW shows solidarity with Georgians' commitment to democracy

Georgian cultural and media professionals say they face physical, digital and psychological threats, as well as financial and legal pressure on their organizations. At a DW panel in Berlin, participants described fears for their safety and Georgia’s democratic direction; civil society groups estimate that more than 90 to over 100 political dissidents and protesters are imprisoned or held in pretrial detention.
