Anwar Gargash, senior diplomatic adviser to the UAE president, told FRANCE 24 on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly that Iran had “dragged us into this conflict” after the UAE was targeted by 3,300 Iranian missiles and drones. Following Donald Trump’s threat to negotiate with or “obliterate” Iran, Gargash said the current “no war, no peace” situation cannot last.
