PoliticsAfrica will no longer tolerate exploitation, Ghanaian president says
Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama told the 81st UN General Assembly that Africa would not accept a colonial model of exploiting its natural resources. He called for reform of unfair trade rules, predatory extraction, discriminatory credit ratings and heavy debt, while urging local mineral processing, job creation and retention of resource value in Africa.
