Russia’s container market expanded 6% year on year to 4.72 million TEU in January-August 2026, transportation group Fesco said. Imports climbed 16% to 2.03 million TEU, while exports fell 3% to 1.24 million. Domestic shipments rose 3.4% to 1.06 million TEU, and rail transit reached 384,000 TEU. The market contracted 0.9% year on year in August.
