Passenger train No. 66 from Moscow to Tolyatti was damaged in what the Kuibyshev Railway called “outside interference” on a stretch in the Samara region. Its engineer was injured, while no passengers were hurt. Rail traffic was suspended, delaying two Moscow–Samara trains. The governor said the damage occurred near the Samara–Ulyanovsk border but gave no details.
