HSBC and Hang Seng Bank will harmonise employee-benefit frameworks across Hong Kong from January 1, according to internal memos. The change is intended to simplify administration, create a shared standard and support internal career mobility between the two lenders. HSBC Hong Kong CEO Maggie Ng said most existing benefits would improve.
