WorldUS allocates $27 million to help return Ukrainian children taken to Russia
The U.S. State Department has earmarked $27 million to help identify, return and reintegrate Ukrainian children forcibly deported to Russia or held in Russian-occupied territories. Officials said $12 million is being granted to a program now, while another $15 million will go to an implementing organization later this year. Ukrainian officials welcomed the support.
