Russia’s Economic Development Ministry forecasts the country’s 2026 grain and legume harvest at about 141.8 million metric tons and vegetable output at 14 million tons. Citing unfavorable weather in some regions, it expects overall agricultural production to reach 98.8% of the 2025 level. Grain and legume output is projected to rise to 165 million tons by 2029.
