The Bocharov Ruchey residence in Sochi was demolished in 2024 and is nearing completion after being rebuilt. BBC’s Russian Service identified Crimea-based Transstroyinvest as the general contractor and linked it to Putin’s friend Arkady Rotenberg. Court records indicate the classified FSO contract runs from 2023 to 2027 and was awarded without competitive bidding.
