SportsIndia’s surfers look to make waves at the 2026 Asian Games

Sugar Shanti Banarse, Kamali Moorthy, Kishore Kumar and Sivaraj Babu overcame limited training resources, family opposition and financial hurdles to represent India in surfing at the Asian Games in Japan. Surfing will make its Asian Games debut, while the athletes also dream of reaching the 2028 Olympics.
