Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia respects Armenia’s sovereignty but believes Yerevan must choose between membership in the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union, whose standards are incompatible in several areas. He added that EAEU members must comply with the bloc’s rules and principles.
