Japan’s 17-year-old Shin Ohashi won Asian Games gold in the men’s 200m breaststroke with a time of 2:04.83, breaking the previous world record held by China’s Qin Haiyang. It was Ohashi’s second gold of the Games, and he could add a fifth medal in Friday’s 50m breaststroke.
