The Bank of Russia bought 1.9 billion rubles ($22.41 million) worth of yuan on the domestic market, with settlement on September 23, according to regulator data. Purchases settled on September 22 also totaled 1.9 billion rubles. The transactions use the yuan-ruble instrument on the Moscow Exchange.
