Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis says an agreement to return the Parthenon marbles remains possible if there is political will and courage. Greece, he says, will reject any arrangement recognising the British Museum’s ownership or treating parts of its own monument as a loan. The museum says its position and openness to a deal are unchanged.
