Singapore is introducing penalties for disorderly behaviour on buses. Passengers could be fined up to S$500 for putting their feet on seats, playing audio loudly, eating or littering. More serious conduct, such as creating danger at a bus interchange or dirtying public transport facilities, could draw fines of up to S$5,000.
