Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the Kremlin welcomed Washington’s invitation for Vladimir Putin to attend the G20 summit in Miami. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the Dec. 14–15 meeting would give Putin a chance to engage with the U.S. president and other world leaders, while Peskov said Moscow would decide later and settle details through diplomatic channels.
