Israel’s ambassador to the US, Yechiel Leiter, said his soldier son Neria was seriously injured in an alleged car-ramming incident near a checkpoint west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. Israeli forces shot dead a Palestinian man identified by the Palestinian Health Ministry as 29-year-old Mahmoud Mohammad Mahmoud Suleiman.
