TechNearly $20 million in XRP drained from 6,678 wallets across six attack waves
Blockchain analyst XRPL.to says 11.75 million XRP was drained from 6,678 wallets between Sept. 15 and Sept. 20, worth about $18.68 million at current prices. The incident involved D’CENT App Wallets, with attackers also using account deletions to extract remaining balances. Some funds moved through THORChain and other services. D’CENT is working with authorities and exchanges to trace the assets and urges affected users to move their funds.
