EconomyRussia’s total gas output rises 3.4% to 446.5 bcm in January-August
Russia’s total gas production, including natural and associated petroleum gas, rose 3.4% year on year to 446.5 billion cubic meters in the first eight months of 2026, Rosstat said. Natural gas output reached 379 bcm, while LNG production increased 13.7% to 23.1 million tonnes and associated gas edged down 0.1%.
