Russia’s financial intelligence agency has placed journalist Yury Dud on its registry of terrorists and extremists. An asterisk by his name says there is “information about [his] involvement in terrorism,” though no known terrorism case has been filed against him. Dud was previously labeled a “foreign agent,” convicted in absentia over alleged noncompliance, and later faced a legal review after his channel aired a lengthy interview with the commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps, which Russia calls a terrorist organization.
