Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian told the UN General Assembly that Iran would never “bend the knee” after nearly seven months of war with the US and Israel, while saying it remained open to diplomacy. He rejected Donald Trump’s threat to “annihilate” Iran and said any agreement must end the US blockade restricting Iranian shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
