CultureRussia opens 137 creative-industry schools across 68 regions
Russia has opened 137 schools of creative industries for teenagers across 68 regions, Deputy Culture Minister Zhanna Alekseyeva said. More than 17,500 children are studying there. Schools opened in 2026 in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Sevastopol, while 16 more are planned in 16 regions by year’s end. Alekseyeva also called for modern interpretations of cities’ histories to attract younger tourists.
