ScienceUK to join EU ocean monitoring system to predict extreme weather
The UK will join OceanEye, a major EU-led ocean science programme intended to improve forecasts of extreme weather and climate events. Britain will share more data with the EU and Canada and support the Global Ocean Observing System, whose planned digital real-time ocean replica is due by 2030.
