TechDiscord will now automatically estimate your age

Discord is launching a global age-assurance system that uses signals such as account history, activity, and connected communities to estimate users’ age groups. Users believed to be 13 to 17 will receive additional safety restrictions, while those who cannot be assessed may need to provide further verification. The change follows privacy concerns over an earlier selfie- and ID-based system.
