Russia holds 102.8 million metric tons of copper reserves, ranking sixth globally, the Natural Resources Ministry told TASS. Its largest deposits include Udokan, Oktyabrskoye, Talnakh and Peschanka. December copper futures reached a record $6.9275 per pound after rising 2.44% on September 22.
