ScienceScientists to improve efficiency of biofuel boilers in Arctic
Scientists at Northern Arctic Federal University are developing upgrades for wood-pellet boiler combustion systems to improve biofuel efficiency and reduce harmful emissions. Initial testing took place at a boiler house in Shangaly, Arkhangelsk Region. The project runs through 2028, with first industrial designs and certification expected by 2030.
