ScienceChina delivers MAZU-Nepal AI weather early warning system to Nepal
China officially handed Nepal its customized MAZU-Nepal AI meteorological early warning platform on Tuesday at the Second China-Central Asia Meteorological Cooperation Forum. The system combines artificial intelligence with physical forecasting models. Following last month’s devastating mudslide, China also provided Nepal with monitoring, forecasting, warning and impact-based services, including a trial version of MAZU.
