Helan County in Ningxia is celebrating a bumper river crab harvest. Using mineral-rich Yellow River water, the county promotes rice-crab and goji berry-fed crab farming, while recycling tailwater and reshaping ponds to rehabilitate saline-alkali land. This year, more than 1,000 hectares are under cultivation, with output expected to exceed 1,100 tons and production value to reach 165 million yuan.
