ScienceEffort begins to fill the void left by terminated US climate report
After the Trump administration cut funding for the US Global Change Research Program, removed past reports and halted work on the next National Climate Assessment, the American Geophysical Union and American Meteorological Society launched the US Climate Collection. It gathers peer-reviewed research that could support future national, regional and local reports. Its first paper, by 149 authors, offers a roadmap for future contributions.
